In un luogo come Villa d’Este non poteva certo mancare le leggende sui fantasmi.
Pare si aggirino proprio nel parco della villa. Uno che si dice appartenga a una ricca signora che fu uccisa nel 1940 da un ladro che giunse a mozzarle le dita per strapparle gli anelli. Ora vaga solitaria con un lungo velo di candido chiffon. Mentre altri due fantasmi appartengono a due giovani ragazzi caddy, i porta-mazze da golf ai ricchi ospiti dell’albergo, che sfortunatamente furono colpiti da un fulmine durante una partita nel 1976.
In riferimento a questi episodi non ci sono notizie storiche che ne testimoniano la veridicità delle vicende. ma se qualcuno avvista qualche strana presenza per il parco, ci faccia sapere!
