Il bellissimo parco all’inglese che circonda Villa Mylius Vigoni fu progettato e realizzato tra il 1855 e il 1865 dall’architetto Giuseppe Balzaretti e offre una cornice naturalistica e ambientale di rara bellezza: alberi secolari, punti panoramici, essenze esotiche costituiscono un patrimonio unico.
Animano i sentieri gruppi di statue in marmo, fontane, iscrizioni e piccoli monumenti commemorativi.
La proprietà si estende su una superficie di circa 40 ettari e comprende oltre al parco boschi, pascoli e più di venti edifici rustici in sasso e legno tra cui case rurali, stalle, roccoli e fienili. Il grande bosco che si estende all’esterno del parco offre, tra l’altro, la possibilità di una fonte rinnovabile per la produzione di energia.
